this is the last day of my manger at my workplace today. they have a farewell sort of dinner. at first i though so good, got such good food. i still though that i might get to taste it, but i dun dare to go forward, and thx God i didn't. so hungry and yet need to look at they eating those delicious and wonderful food. 10.30pm, i dun know what to do, my turn to have my supper came, but i dun dare to go near them. try looking for the other part time, but she is nowhere ot be found. finally, i took my rice and sit down as they finish they food and start packing. there is some roast duck, vinegar pig... left and they gave it to the china ppl and us to eat. woo, vinegar pig, but it is spicy one, i dun like it. other still okay. then i found out that the food they ate need to pay de, $16.70 /pax. that is okay ba, cos got lobster, statay, roast duck, curry, vinegar pig, spring roll and (i dun know the name). so $16.70/pax ia reasonable but is totally self service. okay la, it is what they do for work.
i did not get my pay today as the manger say he is not longer in-charge hence i will only get it tmr when i ask from Diana, she will be taking over Derek. next week i will be working on mon, tue and fri. not bad, get wed and thur off and sat and sun. wed and thur as we might be having caregroup, sat as there will be service as usual and sun as there will be more ppl who will come to dine.
when i reach home, i told my mum that today is the last day of work for my manger. there my mum told me that pa told her that alot of ppl is resigning. they are going oversea to a new restaurant together. then i think pa de work will be more loaded. as the one who cut the food is supposedly to have three, the third one has resign after new year and the second one is going to oversea just haven handed in his resign letter as it ia not good to resign in a go together. the boss may suspect.
wondering if i should keep working after my school term start, my mother was hoping that i would continue as interpreted from her tone and speech.
